Bi-cultural Clinical Psychology Consulting

I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with an endorsement in Clinical Psychology. I am a Medicare/WorkCover provider and available in both English and Mandarin Chinese languages.

Initially from Taiwan, I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA. I received the M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. I then completed a Ph.D. in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. My doctoral work focused on youth mental health and psychological therapy. Over the recent ten years, I have worked in a wide range of clinical settings. I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach that primarily includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or mindfulness-based CBT with a take on Psycho-dynamic perspective to facilitate holistic healing.

As a clinical psychologist, I can offer psychological therapy and diagnostic assessment to assist in the management of mental health challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSDs, OCDs and schizophrenia, as well as ADHDs. I am well equipped with the delivery of culturally attuned psychotherapy that can be tailored for the needs and concerns of ethnic minority and sexual or gender diverse populations living in Australia. I am happy to offer a free lunch talk to chat about how these can help your patients if needed.
